Bakersfield Bobby Sox is a fast pitch softball league for girls ages 3-18. There are no tryouts in Bobby Sox. All girls will get to play regardless of their experience. We stress the 5 ships: Friendship, Sportsmanship, Leadership, Citizenship and Scholarship.

If you are interested don't wait , call Kathy at 832-1271. Spots are filling fast this year. All girls ages 3-18 are welcome to register. If your daughter is new to Bobby Sox this season please bring a copy of her birth certificate. You will also need to have her medical info for the registration form. The cost of registration is $150 for ages 3-6 and $175 for all other age divisions. All girls will receive a uniform shirt , socks, visor, basic picture package and secondary insurance thru Bobby Sox. All girls in the 6u will also receive a participation medal at our year end picnic. 2012 rules for the Buddy System are 8u thru American girl divisions: A new player may buddy up ( be placed on same team) with another new player or with a returning player as long as they are in the same age division. Each player is only allowed one buddy. Once the teams draws are finished the buddy system will no longer be allowed. In the 6u division as many as 10 girls may buddy up and be placed on the same team as long as they are in the same age division. New 2012 rules for the 6 division. Batting tees will not be allowed at West High during the games. Pitching will be coach pitch for the 1st 3 weeks of games and then graduate to girl pitch. Only underhand pitching will be allowed in this division, no windmill style pitching! The 2012 National All Star Tournament will be held in Hawaii! Parents start your fundraising now. We'd like to thank you for you generosity. 2012 PLAYER Registration Form 2012 ADULT Registration Form All of our games will be played at West High School on New Stine Road across the street from Patriots Park. Practice will begin the middle of February 2012 with games beginning the middle of March 2012. We have games scheduled Monday thru Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays. Your daughter will normally play 2 games per week, sometime in this 6 day time period. Our season will finish up the first week of June 2012. Please remember there is no smoking, no ice chests of any kind, no dogs or pets, no vehicles, no bicycles or skateboards and no alcohol use allowed on any of our practice fields or at West High School! Anyone continuing to not follow these rules will be asked to leave the facility and not come back. We have a signed contract with the school districts and must follow these policies or risk losing all of our practice and playing fields.
