Bakersfield Bobby Sox is a fast pitch softball league for girls ages 3-18. There are no tryouts in Bobby Sox. All girls will get to play regardless of their experience. We stress the 5 ships: Friendship, Sportsmanship, Leadership, Citizenship and Scholarship.
*News, News, News* Managers all of your All Star ballots must be turned in to Kathy or Steve no later than May 19, 2012 at 4:00 pm in order for your votes to be counted! The District All Star Tournament will be in La Mirada June 15, 16 and 17th. The Regional All Star Tournament will be in Madera July 14 and 15th. The National All Star Tournament will be in Vacaville July 27, 28 and 29th. Per the rule book information will be available soon for the Hotels that are approved for use by Nationals. *ATTENTION* If changes or challenges need to be made to the posted standing, they must come from the team manager. Requests must come from e-mail to ROGUE@bak.rr.com. The request should include what is being challenged and/or the possible error. Any requests for changes received from someone other than the noted team manager will be disregarded.

Our season will finish up the first week of June 2012. Please remember there is no smoking, no ice chests of any kind, no dogs or pets, no vehicles, no bicycles or skateboards and no alcohol use allowed on any of our practice fields or at West High School! Anyone continuing to not follow these rules will be asked to leave the facility and not come back. We have a signed contract with the school districts and must follow these policies or risk losing all of our practice and playing fields.
